What Part of You Will Never Amount to Anything Don’t You Understand
You ever have that nagging voice in the back of you head?
“Ha Ha HaHaHa You can’t do it”
As your day goes on you look around and see the disarray.
Your children are not listening when you ask them to help clean up.
The sounds of fighting over who had the toy first.
The crying call of your little boy saying, “Bubba hit me.”
Hearing your sweet baby girl whine because you say, “No you don’t need candy.”
Your oldest son back talk with a tone that hurts you deep down inside.
The dishes sitting in the sink.
Floors needing mopped.
Rooms upstairs that you can’t bare to clean by yourself one more time.
Supper sitting in the oven cooking for what seems to be eternity.
Your children saying their hungry, still fighting with each other and wining.
All the while you are hearing this voice laugh and taunt you.
“You will never amount to anything.”
“You are not a good mom, look you can’t even calm your children.”
“You haven’t taught them anything, look they never get along.”
“You can’t even keep your dishes up and your house spotless.”
“HA, You should be ashamed of yourself.”
“So if you can’t do these simple things what make you think you can even be a good enough wife.”
You find yourself looking in a mirror asking yourself, ”Is this true, is this me?”
Tears wailing up inside, your face burning up from being so mad at yourself.
And….
You hit your knees, face down on the ground.
You cry in your Fathers arms, “Lord please forgive me of my sins, make me whole in your light and glory.”
“Deliver me Oh LORD”
Your Father says to you, “Arise my good and faithful child, I love you.”
You find yourself standing in a new place with a new outlook.
The devil will do everything he can to try and bring me down.
By the good Grace of my Father the wonderful Almighty God, devil you will NOT bring me down.
So devil what part of “I AM FREE DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!”
